5.6.11 - NEWS After ten great years with Random House, I've just agreed a new deal to do three books for Hodder. Very much looking forward to being reunited with my old editor Oliver Johnson, who guided all the books from MOSAIC OF SHADOWS through BOOK OF SECRETS; and to meeting all the other wonderful publishing people (and authors) at Hodder.
19-22.5.11 - EVENT I'll be at Crimefest again, talking at 3.50 on Thursday about how the past becomes the present, and 12.20 on Saturday on How Not to Get Published.
13.4.11 - EVENT I'll be at the London Book Fair, chairing a panel on Russian crime writing.
1.4.11 - EVENT I'll be doing a signing at Waterstones in York, 28-29 High Ousegate, at 12pm. Do come along if you're in town.

Reviews roundup: Euro Crime says that THE LAZARUS VAULT is 'simply magical...an excellent story with a fantastic ending.' The Peterborough Evening Telegraph thinks that, 'the medieval
parts of the tale fly off the page, with
drama, insight and danger,' even if the book as a whole, 'doesn’t quite match the
brilliance of his earlier Book Of Secrets.' (I'll take that as a backhanded compliment). And K. Van Oosten on Amazon says, 'I'll put it with my Dan Brown.' But not in a good way, unfortunately.
